Q: What is the expected turnaround time for contract documents and other required documents?

A:All required documents, subcontracts or purchase agreements, performance and payment bonds (if required), insurance certificates, CCIP registration (if applicable) and security plans must be returned within thirty (30) days after the award.

Q: When can I get the bidding result?

A: Most projects do not bid immediately. We need time to properly evaluate each proposal so as to conduct a fair and complete analysis. Normally, within two weeks of the bidding, we will be clear about who the apparently low bidders of each trade are and can give the results. Some of our large projects may take longer.

Q: Where is the best place to learn about the Candideoverseas bidding opportunities?

A: Our website: www.candideoverseas.com is the best place to find information on specific sub-bid opportunities. The Subcontractor section contains complete information about the current bidding project.

Q: Can I book the bidding documents directly?

A: Yes. Bidding documents are usually available directly from the printer. The invitation to bid letter, the Candideoverseas website and the RFP all identify the location of the bidding documents.

Q: Do I have to be a member of the Planning Center to view the bidding documents online?

A. No. Anyone can view the plan online. Many of our projects also allow free download of bidding documents.

Q: Where can I find the bidding documents?

A: Most bidding documents are available at the local planning center and online. See our Subcontractor section for specific locations.

Q: What are the safety requirements for Candideoverseas?

A: Subcontractors must comply with our security plan, including its procedures, practices and policies. For additional information, please refer to the minimum project security requirements (available on our website) or project-specific proposal requests.

Q: Do I have to provide payment and performance bond?

A: We often use subcontractor performance insurance instead of traditional subcontractor contacts. Bonding may be necessary due to the size of the proposed subcontract or state law.

Q: What are the insurance requirements of Candideoverseas?

A: The required coverage, limits and other insureds are indicated in the subcontracting Annex “B”. The sample subcontract is included in the Request for Proposal. Many of our projects use the Contractor Control Insurance Program (CCIP), which provides general liability insurance for on-site activities of subcontractors.

Q: Do I have to pass prequalification before I can participate in the Candideoverseas project?

A: Most of our bidding packages are available for all companies to bid without pre-qualification. The assessment of the bid received will consider whether the successful bidder has a satisfactory record of appropriate financial, material, equipment, facility and human resources and to meet the contract requirements, as well as previous contract performance, quality, safety and integrity. If a specific bidding package requires pre-qualification, we will notify and/or contact potential bidders to obtain prequalification information prior to the publication of the bidding documents.

Q: What are the future bidding opportunities for the Candideoverseas website?

A: Candideoverseas is a deep-impact company for prestressed concrete bridges and expressway construction in southern China. Our National Marketing Department participates in more than 200 project proposals every year. Each quarter we select four of the most important and publish qualified projects on the Future Bid Oppotunity website.

What is the purpose of project exchange?

A: In the infrastructure industry, each country's government has many special and inspiring policies to promote foreign companies investing in their country. Of course in China, the foreign investors always get a lot of treatments exceeding the ones of their own people and a more favorable loan interest rate.

What has happened in the Chinese construction market

Chinese construction industry infrastructure investment has ranked first in the world.
According to the researcher, the development cycle of the industry keeps abreast with the macro-economic development. The industry is directed by the domestic demand, exports and policies, which in general are supportive. For example, in May 2015, the State Council issued Made in China 2025, bringing new opportunities to the construction machinery industry.
The demand in the construction and machinery market is oriented by investments in fixed assets like the real estate and infrastructure. When such investments increa-se, the demand for construction machinery will follow the step. Among the demand in sub-markets, the real estate accounts for 40%, infrastructure contributes to 40%, energy and mining make up 10% and manufacturing takes up 10%.
